Before we get into the more design-based’ changes you’ll need to make; it’s worth mentioning that having your name and address on your blog will automatically give it more credibility (and is legally required in certain areas). If you don’t want your home address on there, then paying a few dollars each month for an online po box with a real suite number will be just as effective. Just make sure that you take the time to check your box from time to time because you’d be surprised how many bloggers receive real mail!

Add an Image to Every Post

Choosing eye-catching images, which don’t look like the average stock image (even if they are) and adding them to each and every post you make will show visitors that you’ve put some real time and effort into putting your website together. Ideally, as a serious blogger, you should hire a web designer to create a unique blog design that matches your personality and screams professionalism.
