Making her feature film debut in the summer of 2015, actress Melissa Bolona first starred in the movie In Stereo, where she held the female lead role. She has since been featured in several movies including I am Wrath with John Travolta, The Institute with John Franco and Dog Eat Dog with Nicolas Cage. Melissa has been working on a new movie titled Acts of Violence, where she stars alongside fellow actress Sophia Bush as well as Bruce Willis.

 

Acts of Violence

Directed by Brett Donowho, Acts of Violence is currently in post-production and stars Ashton Holmes as Roman, a young man whose finance has been kidnapped by human traffickers. Melissa plays Mia, the kidnapped finance. Roman must work with his ex-military brothers to track Mia down and save her before it is too late.

During his tracking, Roman runs into Avery, a cop that is investigating human trafficking in the area, played by Bruce Willis. Sophia Bush plays Detective Brooke Baker in the film.

The new film should release sometime this year, though an exact date has yet to be revealed.

Additional 2017 Movies with Melissa Bolona

For 2017, Melissa is also working on several other movies. She currently has four additional movies in the works, all in post-production. Category 5 is a Rob Cohen movie where Melissa plays the role of Sasha. In this movie, thieves try to rob the United States Treasury as a category 5 hurricane is approaching a mint facility.

The Super is a thriller that Melissa has worked on this year, playing the role of Dixie. In this movie, a man becomes the superintendent of a large apartment building in New York City. People are mysteriously going missing within the building.
