The Lottery Win Wishlist

The classic question: ‘What would you do if you won the lottery?’ As someone who’s spoken quite openly about all of my business projects, it’s obviously something I’ve put thought into. I mean, I told you about my sleepless nights thinking about future earning potential. Over time, my plans have changed considerably and have definitely matured since a little person entered my life. I now have more clarity regarding what I’d do, if I had too much money.

The following are the most important things I would put my money into, if I were to hit the belly:

The House

The numero uno. Five bedrooms – including a study and gym – a garden and a double garage are all I need. More than that is long. It means I’ll have plenty of room to put things and separate life and work – the two main issues I have right now.

Let’s not even think about the interior design for now. Once I have the space, it’ll all come to me.

The Cleaner

Staffing is way up there on the list. Way up. There’s no point having all that money, if I’d still have to do arduous things that slow me down.

I put a lot of thought into other people I could employ for the home and general lifestyle too, but a cleaner is the only absolute essential.

The Businesses

No surprises here. If I’m getting all that money in one go, I need to know that it’s going to continue to bring in money (hopefully) forever. I’ve got a bag of different passive income ideas in their early stages which – with adequate funding – would keep me going for a good old while.

There’s a massive list of projects in my Dropbox, all with their own folders and many with domains already acquired. I need to do them all. I could concentrate on one major one every couple of years, until I decide to take a break. Even with all those riches, I’d feel unfulfilled if I didn’t get the current ones in my head done.

The Adventures

I’ve got places to see. Lots of them. Warm ones. Cold ones. Local-ish ones. Faraway ones. I need to explore all over the gaff with Hollie and YoYo.

Us lot are going to have plenty of fun seeing and experiencing things. You’ll catch it all on Insta and on our blogs after.

The Music

I went to every single music event I wanted to attend in 2011. Every festival. Every major concert. Every random Tuesday night event in Shoreditch. All of them. I still go to a fair few, but I need to get back to those levels again. I’ve got someone else to show them too.

You already know this means my CD collection will have to grow too. No, it won’t mean I’ll start paying up for second-hand albums (I don’t care how much money I’ve got), but it will mean more I’ve got more to play, when I’m cruising in whatever car I’ve selected.

The Treats

I’m thinking of ridiculous money when I write this, by the way. The kind of money a EuroMillions win would bring. Whether it was a tiny win or like that PowerBall billion-dollar one from a few years back, I’ve got to sort out the people close to me. It’s only fair I bless them up with gifts – probably including some of the above.
