I wasn’t going to do this. I was over it. I’ve done it several times already. Then my friends wanted to know how to get in the game.

They’d heard about all the opportunities it can bring – the events, goodies, and good times – and wanted a piece of the action. It was my duty to show them how it’s done, so I did just that.

I set a two-week deadline to whip together a presentation. 100 slides long, including a history of my relationship with blogs, a success story, and an overview of how to set one of these things up.

It was hyped up, went into plenty detail, and showed them that anyone can turn themselves into blog superstar. After gave them the laydown, they got to work. They were convinced, and wasted no time grabbing domains.

I kept checking in on them in the days after, nudging them to make sure they got the first hurdle of setting up. I laced them up with emails with tips about things beginners need to be aware of, inspiration of direction to take their blogs, and they were overflowing with excitement.

After all that, here I was without one.

As much as I’d convinced myself that I’m not into this blogging stuff anymore, I’ve been sat on projects that a blog could act as a touch point for. In fact, some of the projects are better placed on here, rather than as independent things. Too much admin, and all that.

It took a lot of restructuring and rescheduling, but here we are.

I’m Chiino, and I’m a blogger.
