Believe it or not, you don’t always have to put in loads of effort (sometimes) to make money. There are actually quite a few ways that you can increase your funds by just sticking to your current lifestyle (even if you would consider yourself to be lazy). Once you’ve set a couple of things up, you‘ll be able to step your earnings up
1. Monetise Your Social Media
I need to keep stressing the importance of embracing affiliate marketing, because it’s something that everyone can actually do. Everyone. The most applicable method I think most would be able to apply it to their everyday lives is with social media. If you have a platform of any kind – if any strangers (or even friends and family) see you as somewhat of an expert in any particular field, you can push links to affiliate offers, which will earn you commission.
For some people, the key to social media monetisation is the simple act of making your profile open to all. Private accounts don’t make money. Those with well-curated accounts can attract advertisers and brands that may be interested in partnerships and collaborations.
2. Use Cashback
I really can’t come up with a single reason why someone would choose to avoid Top Cashback. It’s the easiest way to top up your funds, while you go about your usual routine of shopping online. There’s only one more step added onto the process of online shopping, and you get money in return for doing it.
I earn hundreds per year from cashback – specifically on Top Cashback – and I’m sure that most people that do a fair bit of online shopping would too. You can also claim cashback on things like utilities, insurance and travel, so there’s plenty of opportunities to claim these rebate opportunities throughout the year.
If you like a bet here and there, you are probably aware that many gambling sites draw people in via this method. They might offer a free bet or the chance to top up your account with a certain amount of cash just to take part. If you were going to do it anyway, it's a great incentive. If I was in America, I would absolutely be cashing in on all the New York sports betting opportunities out there, because the seem to have massive. new user bonuses.
3. Sell Your Photos
If you’re the type of person that takes all sorts of photos throughout your day, you may be sitting on a fair few assets on your iCloud. New phones are sufficient enough to get high quality photographs that you can easily sell on the growing number of stock photography sites. The more niche the subject matter of your content, the more you can get for your photos. It’s just a matter of listing your photos every now and again.
For those that don’t see the photography side as work, it’s a very easy way to supplement your income. You just need to get the images listed, and wait until someone stumbles upon them and buys them. Obviously the more images you have online, the better. But if you’re not doing anything with the pictures otherwise, you’re not going to say ‘no’ to it.
4. Streaming
It’s a shame that I stepped off gaming once online console gaming really took off. It was just a bad time. If I’d have stuck at it, I would have realised what was just around the corner. People really get paid to show themselves playing games. Some get paid an awful lot to do it.
The thing is that you don’t even have to be good at the games to get a following. If you’re playing the games anyway, you may as well film it too. After you’ve got a little set up going on – a microphone, and a camera (even your phone) you’re halfway there. Just carry on as you were – play your games, talk through what you’re doing, and you never know who might find it interesting.
