In a past life, I was a comper. Back in the days before I was brave enough to spend money to try to make some, I used to enter competitions to sell the prizes on ebay. Should You Use WeWin4U?

After my one-year subscription to WeWin4U with literally just one win – of some gardening stuff worth about a fiver – I have not renewed and would not consider doing so. If you’re the type that enters masses of competitions on a daily basis, I can see why it would benefit to do use a service like this. However, you’re still going to have to do a lot of comping of your own – finding your own competitions and entering them yourself – to stand a chance of win much.

There are some tricks that make it easier for you to win certain types of online competitions. There used to be a guy on Twitter that all the compers hated, because he used to exploit these obvious loopholes. You’re a lot better going down that route than bothering with a service that enters you into these email-hunting competitions. While this service does result in people winning competitions, I wasn't one of the lucky ones.

I paid £65.99 for my membership and I can’t even face the site again to see if the prices are the same. I just know that I’m not going back and wouldn’t advise you to either. The one positive thing I will say about them is I emailed to confirm that my subscription would end after one year and that I wouldn't be debited again for the next year.
